The pool and ping pong were a hit with our family and the setting and rooms were lovely. However, we were disappointed to find out that the outdoor pool is only for adults. Our family room was comfortable, but we had to pay extra for a baby travel cot. During dinner, we had to improvise with seating and ended up at a high top table in the corner, which was worrying with our 5-year-old. We also had to brave bad weather to get to the pool with our children. Unfortunately, the breakfast was very poor and not family-friendly. Despite this, we had a lovely stay overall. Plus, our son got a great deal with a 3-course meal for only £13.95.

Although during our stay, we weren't able to use the bar for one of the days due to a lovely family wedding taking place, it made for an exciting ambiance. Overall, Crowne Plaza Solihull provides a great family-friendly experience that will make any family reunion or break memorable.
