The Ballyliffin Lodge and Spa boasts of a lovely leisure center with top-class spa facilities. Guests really enjoyed the leisure pool and fantastic treatments provided by the spa. The hot tub and steam room were perfect for relaxation; however, some guests noted that they were not in proper working condition. The spa was described as out of this world and spectacular, but some reviews mentioned that the facilities were run down and dated and in need of an upgrade. Despite this, guests enjoyed the excellent pool and gym facilities. Although spa booking was not easy and the SPA was closed at some point for training, guests were still able to enjoy a really nice spa experience.

From the treatments on offer, to the bar staff and everything in between, the Spa is superb. Although there were a couple of minor issues with the rainforest water not working and running water missing for half of the thermal suite session, the treatments were still top-notch. Many guests can't wait to come back and experience the beautiful spa once again with recommendations to try out the heated whirlpools on the rooftop terrace. Rockhill House offers guests the perfect way to unwind with their newly opened wellness center and modern, extremely clean spa. Guests can relax in tranquil in and outdoor spa areas, including a thermal suite, outdoor hot tubs and various relaxing areas. Although the spa area is not included in the accommodation, it comes highly recommended by previous guests who rated it 10/10 and described it as relaxation heaven. The staff went above and beyond to make their spa experience fantastic. Although more accommodation and a spa are set to open shortly, the new spa looks great and will be the icing on the cake for future guests.
