The staff at Shandon Hotel & Spa are a standout feature of this incredible location. Guests often sing praises about the welcoming, friendly and helpful staff who go out of their way to make their stay comfortable. From the friendly receptionist to the attentive front desk staff, the hotel is blessed with a team of warm, professional and courteous individuals. Despite a few exceptions, the majority of guests recount their interactions with staff members as top-notch or exceptional. The only letdown for some was slow service or unhelpful reception staffers. The spa staff, in particular, received high marks and Carolyn, the assistant general manager and Mika, the bar manager, were praised for their exceptional service. The restaurant staff and bar staff, on the other hand, faced some criticism for being slow and unhelpful at times. However, this did not detract from the overall experience, as guests raved about the spectacular views, excellent food and superb spa. The staff at Shandon Hotel & Spa are definitely one of the standout features of this brilliant location.
