While the beach may not be perfect and there can be vendors, the clear water and sandy beach are lovely. Additionally, the beachside restaurant is a plus. The hotel itself does not have a private beach, but there is a nearby one that can be reached by a golf cart ride. The beach area next door at the Sands Hotel is also accessible and has beach volleyball. Some guests had difficulty finding the path to the beach, but overall the beach is enjoyable with a calm sea and a small reef for snorkeling. While there may be occasional issues with seaweed, the hotel cannot control nature. The hotel staff is amazing and attentive and the designated beach area for TRS guests with Balinese beds adds a nice touch to the experience.
