Despite this, it is still considered by some as the best beach in Quintana Roo. Guests are also in for a treat with the hotel's amazing pools and private beachside areas. Overall, the beach at Secrets Maroma Beach Riviera Cancun - Adults only is a great attraction and a standout feature of the hotel.

The beach area next door at the Sands Hotel is also accessible and has beach volleyball. Some guests had difficulty finding the path to the beach, but overall the beach is enjoyable with a calm sea and a small reef for snorkeling. While there may be occasional issues with seaweed, the hotel cannot control nature. The hotel staff is amazing and attentive and the designated beach area for TRS guests with Balinese beds adds a nice touch to the experience.
