The hotel features a superb Club Horizon with spacious suites, an excellent breakfast and livemusik in the lobby almost every evening. The Spa center is also excellent. However, some reviewers note that the hotel does not live up to the 5-star rating in terms of some outdated AV equipment and limited beauty salon services. Additionally, some areas like the pool were considered a bit outdated, but understandable given the challenge of having a large pool in a tall building. Nonetheless, the hotel's Stilsicherheit and fantastic service make it a perfect stay for families and it receives many reviews labeled as "exceptional" and "amazing." While some suggest the hotel should consider upgrading coffee machines or having a better view of their room before booking, overall, guests leave feeling at home and giving thanks to Shangri-La Kuala Lumpur for a wonderful stay.
