The Lodge Vilvoorde offers a unique experience with its distinctive décor and ambiance, reflecting its history as an old penitentiary. Located centrally in Vilvoorde, the hotel is convenient for exploring the local area and has easy access to public transport, including bus and train stations. Accessible parking is a significant advantage with ample space available, although there's a small fee for using the hotel's parking lot.

Additionally, ongoing road construction and insufficient signage contribute to difficulties in locating the hotel.
On a brighter note, the hotel offers clean and comfortable rooms with a pleasant atmosphere in the reception and restaurant areas. While the history and unique concept of the building add charm, prospective guests with mobility issues should be aware of the accessibility limitations.
