The North Star Hotel Pictured Rocks has a perfect location for snowmobiling and is conveniently located right next door to Renze Rental. It is also a quick ride to many waterfalls and is convenient to go to the Pictured Rock Cruise. Guests appreciate the location as it relates to all Pictured Rock destinations and it is also convenient to downtown Munising. Although the hotel is outside of Munising and it takes a longer drive to get to town, guests appreciate that the location is easy to access. However, road construction on the highway outside the hotel can cause longer waits to get to town and traffic noise may be a disturbance in some rooms. Despite this, guests still describe the location as great, nice and perfect. Moreover, the hotel is near gas stations and restaurants, making it a great place to stay for driving up and down the pictured rocks park. Overall, the North Star Hotel Pictured Rocks is in a friendly, safe and convenient location for Munising and is close to many attractions.
