Monastery
This inviting hotel is a former hillside monastery located in the north of Mallorca. Son Brull’s history goes back to the 12th century. It has changed uses many times before becoming a hotel. Initially an Arabic “Alquería” (a kind of farmhouse or stables), it became the private home to the Desbrull family, a Jesuit monastery during the 18th century, then again a farmhouse until the middle of the 20th century. Today it is a luxury hotel surrounded by a magnificent natural environment in which olive trees, vineyards and almond, lemon and orange trees are present.
