A woman with long black hair wearing a blue chiffon dress can often be spotted on the 8th floor of this hotel and she is none other than the Lady in Blue, Seelbach Hilton's resident ghost. It is said that she died in the hotel in 1936, when she received news that her ex-husband had been killed in a car accident on his way to her, since they were about to reconcile. Her grief was so big that she she fell down the elevator shaft and committed suicide.
