Las Brisas Merida is the first hotel in the city to achieve LEED certification, a globally recognized standard for energy efficiency, water conservation, sustainable materials, and environmental responsibility. The hotel's design incorporates windows facing east to keep rooms naturally cooler, and it is built around ancient fruit trees and native plants. It also utilizes rainwater harvesting systems and electromagnetic technology to reduce waste.
