The Langham London hotel is famous not only for its luxurious accommodation but also for its ghost "residents". Guests claim to have seen a man in Victorian wear in the room 333, as well as another one wearing military uniform that is believed to be the ghost of a German prince who committed suicide in the hotel just before WWI started. Also, the ghost of Napoleon the 3rd is believed to be haunting the basement.

Ettington Park Hotel, housed in an impressive neo-Gothic mansion, used to be a Roman villa during antiquity, a nursing home during the 1930s and many more before it got destroyed in a fire in 1979 and completely renovated to become the hotel it is today. The ghost of Lady Emma, a former governess, is a regular visitor and is often seen wearing a long white dress before she disappears in the walls. Kinnitty Castle was built in 1209, it was burned by the Republicans in 1922 and rebuilt as it is today in 1928, managing to retain the High Cross and the Abbey wall of the original structure intact. Partly due to its turbulent history and partly due to its Gothic-style architecture, Kinnitty Castle is home to a few ghosts. Especially the Geraldine and Elizabeth rooms are the ones where most guests have experienced paranormal activities. The ghost of Hugh the monk is one of the most famous ones. The Lake Hotel was built in 1820 and is said to be haunted by Donal McCarthy Mor, the founder of Muckross Abbey which is near the hotel. Former Castle Hotel

The castle of Hugenpoet was first mentioned as far back as the 8th century, when it used to be Charlemagne's manor house. The castle was completely destroyed during feuds in the 15th century and it was rebuilt close to its ruins. It took the shape it has today in the 17th century and it was used as a private residence first and as a temporary hosting ground for a museum later on. In the 1950s, the castle was turned into a hotel.

Talbot Hotel has an oak staircase that was part of Fotheringay Castle until the 1600s. Mary Queen of Scots was tried and beheaded in that castle. Mary was supposed to have walked down that staircase to her execution, and left a mark on the staircase's wood from her ring. Guests report that her spirit walks down that staircase and her portrait is moving from the wall.

This thousand-year-old castle, apart from centuries deep history, also carries a sad story of star-crossed lovers. As the story goes, in the 14th century, Lord Alberto and his family inhabited the castle. Preparing for a battle with a neighbouring state, a young Captain was sent in the area where the castle is located along with his troops. The Captain fell in love with the Lord's daughter, but since her father did not approve of it, the Captain was order to stay away and the daughter was locked in the castle tower. Unable to forget her love for the Captain, the daughter refused to eat or exit the tower, and she ended up meeting a tragic death due to her broken heart. Visitors have witnessed a figure said to resemble to the poor daughter, who sighs and still waits by the Lake for her Captain to return.
