While it's a bit far from the main center and beaches, it's conveniently placed for easy access to most places on the island and it's just 5 minutes by car to Adamas. However, it's recommended to rent a car or scooter as public transport is infrequent. Despite being situated on the main road, noise levels can be high due to heavy truck traffic and some guests found it challenging to relax due to the proximity of a nearby loading dock. Nevertheless, the central location allows you to go by car all around the beaches in no more than 15 minutes for both the north and the south side of the island. Overall, Avra Milos is a nice place for visiting the whole island, but if you're after a relaxing vacation, it's better to opt for a more secluded location away from the main road.
