Even though the hotel is secluded, it's close to Woodbridge and half an hour's walk to pubs and shops. Visitors can explore the area as it's a wonderful part of Suffolk and North Essex. The location off the A12 means a visit to local places of interest is accessible and the hotel is easy to find. However, some guests found it quite tricky to locate initially. Seckford Hall Hotel & Spa is an ideal destination for those who love history, as the building and its surroundings are rich in it. The vibrant and quirky old building is an incredibly picturesque place to stay and the gardens are lovely. The guests praise the hotel for being well-located and convenient, ensuring a restful stay.

Seckford Hall is an old, lovely country hotel, but some guests feel it doesn't quite meet the 4-star rating. Although, considering the property's age, it has done well in bringing facilities to the modern era. Our stay was okay, but some guests feel that it falls short of the average standard and not good value for money. Regrettably, limited evening food availability has reduced potential 5-star breaks to four.
