If you're looking for a stress-free stay, check out is at 12pm, giving you plenty of time for a family swim before leaving. The hotel is in the perfect location for visits to Leeds and Halifax, ideal for family trips. The only downfall was that a function was taking place which kept families up late due to kids running around in the reception and corridors. Overall the stay is chilled and family-friendly with very spacious rooms and a restaurant that caters to all.

Despite some hiccups, the hotel staff was understanding when things did not go as planned. For example, a lady at the reception allowed one family to keep their room free for two extra hours due to their child's illness. Lastly, guests were thrilled to share the hotel with the Jamaican Rugby team and some rugby-mad kids might find it exciting too. All in all, Crowne Plaza Leeds, an IHG Hotel, could be an excellent choice for a family break, provided parents are comfortable with some of the downsides mentioned.
