Accessible HotelSummary of reviews related to the 'Accessible' categoryThe Sandman Signature London Gatwick Hotel provides a generally accessible environment for guests with disabilities, supported by positive feedback on accessibility. The hotel features accessible parking options, including blue badge parking bays, which is highly appreciated by guests requiring such services. The WiFi connectivity is also praised, aiding in a convenient stay.
However, several reviews indicate that some accessible rooms require attention to cleanliness and maintenance. Issues such as dirty bathrooms, sightings of earwigs and faulty shower cubicles that fail to contain water were reported in disabled rooms. Additionally, the overall cleanliness of some rooms was questioned, citing dusty furniture.
Guests have mentioned that the hotel is in an accessible location, although it could be challenging due to the lack of a shuttle bus service from Gatwick Airport, essential for seamless transportation. Another minor drawback is the non-availability of windows to open in certain rooms, restricting air exchange.
Overall, while the hotel excels in accessible parking and internet services, there are areas, particularly in room cleanliness and maintenance, where improvements could enhance the experience for guests with disabilities. Show more
