Although some previous visitors have described it as disappointing, others insist it was good value for the price paid. Rooms can be a bit hit-or-miss, depending on which building you're placed in. Those located in the old building have been characterized as musty and lacking in cleanliness, while the new building features more spacious and clean rooms with private balconies. However, many guests reported that the beds were not nice regardless of which room they chose. While some guests did have issues with the facilities, like a leaking toilet, most guests enjoyed their time and found the resort suitable for their vacation. While it's not the fanciest place around and there is no breakfast included, for first-timers, it's certainly passable. Nonetheless, some guests might find the "nastiness" of this hotel not worth the money and we understand that Daytona Beach Resort may not be to everyone's liking.
