Guests of the Golden Bay Beach Hotel can enjoy a relaxing spa experience during their stay. The spa facilities are praised by many guests with an impressive range of amenities such as a gym, indoor pools, steam baths and saunas. However, some guests noted an outdated look and an awful smell in the spa area. Despite the issues, most guests found the spa to be a great place to unwind with a good selection of massages available at an extra cost. The indoor pool may be a bit cold, but the steam bath and sauna make up for it. Unfortunately, some of the staff at the spa were noted to be unsmiling and unfriendly. While some guests found the spa to be austere and not worth the cost, others found it a useful retreat during the winter months. Overall, the spa is a great feature of the hotel, but some updates and improvements may be necessary to enhance guests' enjoyment.
