Looking for a hotel at a fair price for your next Galveston cruise? Look no further than Homewood Suites by Hilton Houston-Woodlands-Shenandoah. Though it may be hard to spot from the road, the convenient location makes up for it. This hotel is within walking distance of shopping and dining options and close to The Woodlands. If you're in town for a concert or need to visit the hospital frequently, this is a great location for you. Plus, there's a nice park right outside and it's only a 10-minute walk to Starbucks and restaurant options. While the location may be a bit hard to find and the sign could use updating, the staff is helpful and polite. Overall, the location and cleanliness can't be beat!
Breakfast
The Homewood Suites by Hilton Houston-Woodlands-Shenandoah is highly recommended for its excellent breakfast. The breakfast options were varied and included delicious items like biscuits and gravy with bacon and eggs, cheese and egg omelet with sausage links, juices, cereals and other breakfast fare. Guests loved the full breakfast each morning and the great variety it offered. Even though a few guests found the breakfast disappointing or in need of more options like gluten-free or meatless choices, most guests were pleased and praised the breakfast as the best. The breakfast buffet was amazing and the lady that was preparing the breakfast was really nice. While a few guests found the breakfast decent or just good, some had a less satisfactory experience due to pre-packaging, lack of variety or industrial scrambled eggs. Overall, the hotel offers a great breakfast included in the suite package and it's perfect for a quick or full breakfast, depending on your time and preference.
