Superior King Room This spacious room features large windows, overlooking the lawns and gardens. It also boasts an en suite bathroom. The room is located on the first floor

Suite - Top Floor This en suite room is located on the top floor, within the eaves of the roof, and offers tea/coffee making facilities, a TV with DVD player, bathrobes, free toiletries and standard size double bed. This room also features free WiFi and a sofa. Due to the location of the room, guests are required to climb 2 flights of stairs. A fan and or a heater is available in the room for summer/autumn.

Large Double or Twin Room - Ground Floor This spacious room features a large window, overlooking the lawns and gardens. It also boasts an en suite bathroom with walk in shower. Hand grips and shower chair available upon request. Bathroom is not wheelchair accessible. Please note that this room is adjacent to the common areas.

Double Room with Four Poster Bed This first floor room has a king-sized four poster bed. It offers rural views and an en-suite bathroom with a shower over the bath. Amenities include tea and coffee making facilities, a flat-screen TV/DVD, bath robes and toiletries.

Guests have praised the hotel's superb, fantastic and ideal location, as well as its stunning, peaceful and charming setting. The hotel's close proximity to the coast makes it an excellent choice for hardy walkers and those looking to explore the region's beauty spots. The two pubs in the nearby village offer the perfect place for guests to unwind after a day of adventures. Overall, Elm Grove Country House's location and surroundings make it an excellent choice for a quiet getaway with excellent hosts, service and delicious breakfast waiting for you.

Breakfast

The breakfast at Elm Grove Country House is worth writing home about. Guests have raved about the fresh local produce, superb home-cooked meals and wide array of choices. Breakfast is first-class with friendly and attentive staff, excellent recommendations and generous servings. The menu is filled with a vast range of high-quality options, including gluten-free and lactose-free selections and a variety of fruits and cereals. Although some guests found the coffee weak and the toast too commercial, the breakfast was outstanding overall. The hosts truly go the extra mile to ensure guests' satisfaction, offering both tennis and croquet on-site. The breakfast menu and evening meals are both superb with generous portions of beautifully cooked food that are different every night.

Dinner

Elm Grove Country House offers a superb dining experience with quality home-cooked fresh food, high standard of cooking, great variety and good service. The evening meals were top class and the staff is excellent, friendly and efficient. Guests can also order a meal of their choice and it will be a treat each night. The hotel offers a new menu every evening made from local produce, freshly cooked and highly recommendable. Although there could be more menu choices, the food is tasty, different every night and served with generous portions. Guests have the option to eat dinner in the hotel or in any of the two local pubs just minutes away. Notably, the house red wine comes highly recommended. However, the pillows could be better for the price and the internet signal in the room is limited. Overall, the breakfast and evening meals are very good with the exception of one bland, unimaginative meal.

While some guests found the decor of the bathroom to be slightly outdated, the overall cleanliness and presentation of the rooms was excellent. All in all, staying in Elm Grove Country House guarantees a wonderful and comfortable experience.
