Very Good
Location
The Last Hotel's location is exceptional, centrally located and close to many attractions in St. Louis. It's within easy walking distance of downtown and the City Museum with lots of places to eat nearby. Guests loved being able to walk to restaurants and downtown attractions and appreciated the hotel's proximity to the Enterprise Center. Some guests noted that the area could use some more bars and restaurants, but overall the location was fantastic for exploring St. Louis. However, a few guests felt unsafe walking around the area at night and noted that street noise could be bothersome in some rooms. Despite these small issues, most guests loved the hotel's convenient location and cool atmosphere.

Breakfast
Guests have mixed opinions about the breakfast at The Last Hotel. Some found it to be pretty bare-bones and expensive, while others thought it was amazing with delicious food and great service at a fair price. There were calls for more variety and for coffee or water cups to be provided in the rooms. Some enjoyed the restaurant's food with some even claiming that it had the best French fries. Guests who had the Sunday Brunch found it to be a great value and comparable to other top restaurants. However, some guests did not try the breakfast due to its high cost or limited opening hours, which some found too late. Overall, the complimentary coffee station was a welcomed touch, but some guests thought that complimentary breakfast should be included in the room price.

Dinner
The dinner experience at The Last Hotel has received mixed reviews from guests. While some found the food at the on-site restaurant, Ultima Cucina, to be excellent and a hidden gem, others were disappointed with the limited choices and overpricing. Guests who enjoyed the restaurant praised the wood-fired pizza, pasta and salads. However, the service was lacking with some reviewers describing the servers as being on the "struggle bus." Additionally, some expressed frustration that they were unable to charge anything to their room at any of the hotel's bars, including the rooftop bar and lounge bar. Despite these mixed reviews, the nice lobby bar and restaurant were still seen as great perks by guests.

Rooms
The Last Hotel boasts very stylish and spacious rooms with nice industrial and modern furnishings. The beds are comfortable and the bathrooms are clean with large showers. The hotel has a historic and sophisticated feel and some rooms have nice views. Many guests have praised the unique and classy decor of the rooms, as well as the friendly staff. However, some guests have reported issues with cleanliness, maintenance and basic necessities, such as towels and toiletries. Some rooms were outdated, small or had odd design choices. Despite these occasional hiccups, most guests enjoyed their stay in the beautifully renovated rooms of this charming boutique hotel.

Beds
The Last Hotel boasts of comfortable and spacious rooms, complete with nice decorations and large king-sized beds. Many guests have raved about the level of comfort provided by the beds with comments ranging from "the bed was awesome" to "very comfortable beds." The majority of guests found the beds to be comfortable with many highlighting the quality of sleep they had during their stay. However, there were a few complaints about the beds sinking or sagging in the middle and some guests found the pillows to be too high. Despite these minor issues, most guests enjoyed their time at The Last Hotel and highly recommend it to others.

Cleanliness
The Last Hotel has a mixed record when it comes to cleanliness. While some guests noted missing towels and toiletries, an empty shampoo bottle on the floor and random hair on the floor and in the shower, others have commented on how beautifully restored and decorated the rooms are and how the facilities were very clean. The staff was also friendly and pleasant and some guests described the hotel as "super clean" and one of the best they've stayed at in a long time. However, there were also complaints about stained sheets, a dirty shower and a sewage smell in the 5th-floor restrooms. Overall, while the hotel could be cleaner in some areas, there were many positive comments about the cleanliness of the hotel and the rooms.

Staff
The Last Hotel is a wonderful place to stay if you want to experience fantastic customer service. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel right at home and their polite and warm personalities really showed their excellent customer service skills. The personnel at the front desk, including Marvin and Orlando, were gems to meet and the valet guy was very nice and helpful. The restaurant staff were awesome and the bartender was excellent. However, some reviewers did note poor customer service with some staff not being helpful. Despite this, the majority of the staff were friendly and eager to accommodate, making our stay truly remarkable. The room was amazing, clean and comfortable with kind staff consistently welcoming us. The only downside was the cleaning lady who did not show enthusiasm for her job, but this hardly takes away from the overall amazing experience.

Pool
The Last Hotel boasts a stunning rooftop pool, offering guests beautiful and unique downtown views from the rooftop bar. Despite some setbacks with the bar being closed early on certain days, the rooftop pool remained open and provided a beautiful setting for guests to relax and unwind. However, some guests felt that the pool water could have been heated better, while others found it too cold even on hot days. Despite these minor issues, guests were impressed with the rooftop pool's beauty and the hotel's central location near the city museum. So much so that one guest decided to extend their stay just to experience the pool for themselves. Unfortunately, due to a storm, the rooftop pool and bar were closed on occasion, but when open, they were a highlight of guests' stays at The Last Hotel.

Parking
The Last Hotel has convenient but pricey parking options for guests. While there are ample public parking options around the hotel, including a small lot directly across the street, guests should be aware that parking is not free and can cost upwards of $30-$40 per day with no in & out privileges. Valet parking is available but can range from $40-$100 per night. Despite this inconvenience, the hotel staff is helpful in assisting guests to locate parking and valet attendants have received positive reviews for their service. It should be noted that some guests have complained about the high cost of parking and instances of car break-ins. Overall, the hotel's location close to restaurants and various parking options make it a convenient choice for travelers with a car.

4 Star
The Last Hotel in St. Louis is housed in a beautifully restored old shoe factory building. It's a great place to stay, whether for business or pleasure with a good location and affordable price. The staff, while inconsistent, were very helpful and friendly and the restaurant was enjoyable. Overall, it was a really good stay and a nice place to spend time. While some guests debated the four-star rating, most found the hotel to be superb and very good.

Outdoor Pool
The Last Hotel boasts of an outdoor rooftop pool that offers a breathtaking view of the city. Most guests found the pool to be amazing, despite some wishing it was warmer. The pool is a lovely feature that complemented other great aspects of the hotel such as the staff, rooms and location. Although some guests visited during the colder months and found the pool too cold to swim, others loved the pool area, especially the rooftop bar. Unfortunately, some guests found the pool closed due to staffing issues and some complained that the pool was not at the temperature advertised online. Overall, the rooftop pool is definitely a plus for any guest staying at The Last Hotel.
