Summary of reviews
Summarized by AI
Sandri Palace Hotel is highly praised for its prime location, offering easy access to supermarkets, restaurants, shops, essential services and local attractions, making it a convenient option for both leisure and business travelers in Itajaí. The hotel's breakfast is highlighted as a standout feature, described as excellent and varied, catering to diverse dietary preferences with an abundant buffet that consistently satisfies guests. Dinner services receive commendations for delicious Brazilian cuisine and room service, although some note high prices and occasional service delays.
Rooms at Sandri Palace Hotel are generally appreciated for their spaciousness and comfort, particularly the modern rooms in the newer section of the hotel. However, older rooms have faced criticism for outdated decor and maintenance issues. Despite this, cleanliness is usually well-regarded with the hotel maintaining a consistently tidy and pleasant environment. The staff are mostly considered polite, attentive and helpful, particularly at the reception, although some guests have experienced instances of unfriendliness and slower service.
Despite the hotel's numerous strengths, the Wi-Fi service frequently draws significant criticism for being weak and unreliable. The wellness and spa facilities provide good relaxation options, but there are concerns about high prices and service accessibility with guests noting a need for better communication and availability of spa services. The gym is seen as well-equipped by some but criticized for maintenance issues and limited space by others.
The pool receives positive remarks for cleanliness and comfort, although some guests find the water too cold and the area needing more maintenance. The parking facilities are secure but many guests feel the cost is too high and the system disorganized, leading to inconvenience.
The hotel is particularly noted for its family-friendly environment, offering spacious rooms and amenities that cater to children, making it a good choice for family vacations. Overall, Sandri Palace Hotel provides a pleasant stay with standout features such as its location, breakfast and cleanliness, although there are areas in need of improvement, particularly with the older rooms, Wi-Fi service and gym maintenance.
