Located on the west side of the city in a quieter part of town, it is within walking distance to many sights, restaurants and shops. Guests have raved about the convenient location with some nice restaurants and specialty stores just a few blocks walk away. The West End location of the Francis is fantastic and the Cape Elizabeth lighthouse is just a 10-minute drive away. Guests have also enjoyed a nice scenic walk down to central Portland, which is about a half-hour walk away from basically anything you want. If you're looking for a great location, the Francis could not have been better as it's walking distance to all of the restaurants and shops downtown with convenient parking. Overall, it's a lovely old building in a lively yet quiet street of Portland.
