Eratap Beach Resort offers fine dining meal options at night, but the reviews are hit and miss. However, guests agree that the food is pretty good, especially for Pacific standards. Although some dishes were honestly not ok, the menu itself was pretty good. However, the execution was lacking for some dishes. A few guests ordered sirloin steaks and had to send them back because they were so tough that their knives couldn't cut them. Another guest ordered grilled tuna, which was overcooked to the point of not resembling tuna. Nevertheless, given the remote location of the resort, it's not that easy to have dinner elsewhere as it's a half-hour drive into Port Vila, but arrangements can be made. The beauty of this place is staying out and forgetting the outside world for a while. One guest enjoyed their private trip to Castaway Island and the food there was excellent.
