Location

Central is a hotel located in a prime location in Patras - just near the port and a few minutes walk to the heart of the center, making it a practical, nice located choice for anyone visiting. It's also convenient to many restaurants and close to a ferry booking office. The hotel has good facilities, including hot water and free public parking nearby. And if you're worried about finding it, it's just next to a well-known church in the area. The owner is attentive and welcoming, ensuring a smooth arrival and stay. Guests rave about the ideal location, which allows for easy access on foot or by car to many attractions, including the ancient Roman baths, odeon and castle. Plus, the views of the port are stunning. Overall, staying at Central puts you right at the heart of all that Patras has to offer.

Rooms

If you're looking for a lovely apartment close to the city center, Central is a great option for a short stay! The check-in process is easy and flexible and the apartment was clean and well-maintained. The bed and kitchen amenities were nice and functional and the apartment had everything you need, including a washing machine! The room itself was cozy and warm, perfect for those chilly evenings. Although we didn't meet our host in person, we received clear instructions on how to get the keys and enter the apartment. Overall, we had a great time and would recommend Central for a comfortable, functional stay in the heart of the city. However, the beds may need an immediate change of mattresses, as they were not comfortable and the room can barely accommodate only two adults and one child. Also, during rainfall, the windows leaked water due to old window frames and inadequate seals and there was no sound insulation. Furthermore, the bathroom lacked a shower support and the location of the small sink was inconvenient. Additionally, the television had poor reception due to the internal antenna and there were only two electrical sockets in non-functional positions.
