What is the history of the property?Perhaps a former coaching inn, perhaps not... What we do know is that Louis-Edmond Antoine le Picard de Phélippeaux (1767 – 1799), a French émigré best known for defeating Napoleon Bonaparte in an effort to defend Egypt did have ties to the Lyon d'Or.
What was the era and/or the architectural style in which the property was built? We do not have the exact history of the buildings, though we have been told that the buildings were built between the 14th and 18th centuries. Thick stone walls, wood beams, terra cotta tile floors.
