Location

Turtle Bay Lodge is the perfect tropical getaway with a stunning waterfront location situated on Turtle Bay. The remote location provides a sense of tranquility as it's away from the road and surrounded by natural beauty. Guests loved the accommodation, facilities and awesome staff who catered to their every need. The reef straight out the front of the hotel was a particular highlight with great coral and snorkeling opportunities. The open-sided restaurant served delicious meals throughout the day, perfect for dining by the water. The location was central to everything with enough activities to keep guests entertained. Although it's a little out of the way, the good location allows for easy access to blue holes, rivers, champagne beach and other natural attractions of Santo. Overall, it's a lovely boutique-like property in a beautiful location with breathtaking views of the sea.

If you're looking for a great dining experience during your stay in Turtle Bay Lodge, look no further than the hotel's restaurant. With a delicious menu and excellent food, guests are raving about the well-prepared and tasty meals. The restaurant offers complete water views from every table and the portion sizes are large. With plenty of options to choose from, guests highly recommend the Surf & Turf and the Poulet fish dishes. The freshness of the food is consistently noted with some guests even calling it "out of this world." While one guest admitted that the cuisine wasn't to their personal taste, overall, the meals are described as fabulous and of high quality. Bon appétit!

Guests have praised the comfortable beds and spacious rooms, making for a super comfy stay. Some rooms even offer an ocean view, allowing guests to sleep to the sound of the waves. The rooms vary from wooden bungalows to luxurious tents reminiscent of US WWII. However, some guests have reported uncomfortable beds and pillows and the occasional dampness and musty scent in certain rooms. Overall, Turtle Bay Lodge offers a lovely beach house style stay with beautiful accommodation to match.

Staff

If you're looking for a hotel with friendly and helpful staff, Turtle Bay Lodge should be at the top of your list. The staff here are awesome, super friendly and welcoming, making your stay a truly pleasurable experience. In addition, the managers Mick and Vicky, as well as the restaurant frontman Chris, all manage the place extremely well and happily engage with guests. The service is outstanding with Dixon taking care of guests at the restaurant and Angie making sure to help with arranging day trips. The staff are competent, available and always have a smile on their faces, making you feel completely at home. Communication is not an issue as the staff speak both English and French and they're knowledgeable about the area and happy to make recommendations. Overall, a stay at Turtle Bay Lodge will leave you feeling well taken care of by the lovely people who run the business and work there.
