The nearby village of Longframlington offers excellent pubs and artisan bakeries within walking distance, while Alnwick and the surrounding areas can be reached by a short drive. The drive up across the moors is amazingly beautiful and the ease of location makes it an excellent base for exploring the local area. The location is also quite convenient to visit the National Trust property Cragside. Guests enjoyed lovely views of the countryside, the fields, the hills and the sea from almost every room. The beautiful surroundings offer a panoramic view over the lower moors and fields to the North Sea. Enjoy your stay in this gem in a gorgeous part of the country with a lovely, scenic area that gives a peaceful and tranquil atmosphere.

Dene House Farm offers a lovely country setting just 10 minutes away from Alnwick with no breakfast included but plenty of recommendations for local cafes and bakeries. Guests rave about the delicious breakfast options at the Running Fox bakery and café, which offers a great selection of breakfasts, pies and cakes. While COVID restrictions meant that breakfast couldn't be offered at the property during some stays, guests still found their stay to be fantastic and the help-yourself coffee and tea bar in their rooms was a welcome touch.
