Château Malescasse is a neoclassical 1824 wine estate in Lamarque, founded by the Renouil family and later sold in 1887. After a mid-century lull, Guy Tesseron revived the property from 1970, restoring the vineyard to 40 ha by 1992. It later passed to Alcatel-Alsthom and, in 2012, to Philippe Austruy’s Vignobles Austruy. Today it’s recognized as Cru Bourgeois Exceptionnel and offers private stays amid its Haut-Médoc vines.
