Summary of reviews
Summarized by AI
Hotel Cuauhtemoc stands out primarily for its excellent location. Situated near the city's center and the historic district, it offers guests the convenience of exploring downtown Querétaro with ease. Its proximity to key attractions, supermarkets and the train station simplifies both work and leisure travel. The hotel's appeal is further enhanced by its affordability, making it an attractive option for budget-conscious travelers. The calm surroundings and family-friendly atmosphere provide a tranquil retreat amidst the bustling city. The availability of essential amenities, such as parking, adds to its practical advantages.
The staff at Hotel Cuauhtemoc receives commendations for their exceptional friendliness and attentiveness, consistently contributing to a pleasant and welcoming guest experience. This high level of service is often mentioned as a highlight of the hotel. Cleanliness is praised by many guests, though reviews show some variability. While many rooms and facilities were reported as clean, there were notable complaints about dirty bathrooms, floors and occasional pest control issues.
The rooms themselves receive mixed feedback. Positive reviews highlight the hotel's central location and the basic comfort provided by clean rooms. However, several guests found the rooms smaller and darker than expected based on online photos with issues like insufficient ventilation and poor condition of some facilities detracting from their experience. The bathrooms, in particular, faced criticism for their size and condition.
WiFi at the hotel is another area where experiences vary. Some guests found the connection to be reliable, while others faced persistent connectivity issues, primarily noting that reliable access was limited to certain areas like the courtyard.
While parking is available, the facility is small and the entrance narrow, making it somewhat challenging for drivers. Despite this, guests appreciate the security of having a spot for their vehicles.
Feedback on the beds is also mixed. Many guests enjoyed comfortable and clean beds, while some found the mattresses and pillows too firm. Nonetheless, the overall positive remarks on bed cleanliness and the newness of the mattresses indicate a focus on ensuring guest comfort.
Overall, Hotel Cuauhtemoc's prime location, excellent service from the staff and affordability make it a recommended choice for travelers, though areas such as room updates, WiFi reliability and parking logistics could benefit from further improvements.
