If you're looking to make the most of your next stay in Freiburg, then a visit to the Dorint Thermenhotel is a must. Not only is the hotel in a fantastic location for taking advantage of the thermal pool, but guests have direct access to it from the hotel - even underground. The pool itself is huge with a range of treatments available and there's even a 25m swimming pool if you prefer some exercise. While you do have to pay for entry to the thermal baths and sauna, it's worth it for the convenience of being able to visit straight from your hotel. Even though the baths aren't exclusive to the hotel, being able to reach them through a discreet underground tunnel means you can avoid the over-crowding and high numbers of children that are sometimes present. Plus with free on-site parking and a good breakfast included, it's the perfect destination for a relaxing and indulgent getaway.
