The inn is also conveniently located near the University of Hawaii, making it a great choice for visitors with business at the university. Many guests appreciated the free parking and the easily accessible location. The back yard garden area was a big hit with those seeking a peaceful place to relax. Although restaurants weren't necessarily within walking distance, the location was still considered very convenient for excursions to the island's secluded beaches on the North/West coast. Overall, guests raved about the great location, calling it a small historic gem in the middle of the big city of Honolulu.

Made-to-order eggs and potatoes are a particular favorite, along with the croissants and homemade jam. Guests also appreciate the free breakfast, which includes fresh pineapple, excellent coffee and lots more. A highlight for many is the breakfast served in the beautiful garden or on the patio, which are prepared with love and care. While some guests note that breakfast can be a little repetitive, overall, it's described as filling, healthy and a perfect start to the day.

Although some areas may be in need of renovations, each room has its own personality and is impeccably clean. Guests can enjoy the spacious and very individually decorated rooms with many mentioning how comfy the beds are. Some larger rooms offer great showers and the attic room is highly recommended for its city view. The old porcelain tub in one room is beautiful and the unique property with lots of character is filled with stimmungsvollem trödel. While some guests did find the beds to be a bit lumpy or in need of updating, the overall atmosphere is relaxing and the experience is truly unique.

Despite these comments, majority of the reviewers have expressed contentment with their beds. One guest even called it a lovely bed and breakfast with an ideal location. However, there were also a very minimal number of guests who had negative views on the beds with some calling it terrible, very uncomfortable or with pillows that were uncomfortable.
