Although some rooms face a busy road, the hotel's set back location ensures that noise disturbance is minimal. The hotel is also a reliable choice for those visiting the Lincolnshire fenland region or attending local events like the Beer and music festival or weddings. Overall, the location of The Mansion House Hotel is highly convenient and central to any purpose of stay in the area.

The quality of the breakfast products is top-notch with a gluten-free option available as well. The breakfast is well laid out and there is so much to choose from, making it a fabulous experience. The hotel staff are also accommodating and even those who didn't book breakfast were served. The only downside is that breakfast is time slot affair, but the tasty food and a big old pot of tea more than make up for that.

The hotel is a perfect choice for those seeking a quirky and unique boutique hotel experience. The beds are comfy with crisp white linen and modern bathrooms and all amenities are provided such as tea/coffee making facilities, a small fridge and a hairdryer.

The building itself is very nice with owners who are spotlessly clean and welcoming. Our room was lovely with a generously stocked tea, coffee and hot chocolate selection and it was blissfully quiet. All the rooms are nicely styled and individual with old charm properties that add to the character of the hotel.

However, some rooms on the high street may experience noise from people passing by, traffic and farm machinery passing in the middle of the night. Furthermore, some guests had issues with a small and cramped bathroom, a broken wardrobe, windows that didn't open, insufficient towels and a bed that was too small. Nevertheless, overall the rooms were clean, cosy and welcoming with plenty of pillows and space for clothes.

In conclusion, The Mansion House Hotel is a beautiful old house with charm and character, just stunning!! The hotel offers lovely big rooms, comfortable beds and a spacious and tastefully decorated environment. We highly recommend this hotel for a unique and unforgettable boutique hotel experience.
