Hotels with Swimming Pool in Hockering

The swimming pool and leisure facilities at Barnham Broom Hotel, Golf & Spa received mixed reviews from guests. Some guests found the location of the pool inconvenient, having to walk through the hotel and the sports bar to get there. Others complained about the pool being small and cold with outdated facilities and an added charge for use. The bubble jets and jacuzzi were also reported to be cold and some guests found the pool area to be grubby and in need of a revamp. However, some guests had positive experiences and enjoyed the pool, finding it gorgeous and good. Families with children were seen frequently in the pool, which led to overcrowding – guests proposed a separate time slot for swimmers. The addition of air conditioning and a pool were seen as a plus. Some guests found the staff rude, especially the night staff at the pool, but the hotel staff were praised for their service. Despite the mixed reviews, the pool and facilities were found to be adequate with no serious issues reported beyond the mechanism dosing the chlorine not working and water being saltier than expected.

The Wensum Valley Hotel Golf and Country Club boasts exceptional facilities that pleasantly surprised guests during their stay. Apart from the top-notch golf course, fitness center and well-managed indoor swimming pool and spa, guests also enjoyed the hotel's restaurant, bar and staff. Although some guests wish that the pool could have been bigger and updated, many still found it to be a good size with a super jacuzzi. While some guests had issues with chlorine levels and the dated changing rooms, others enjoyed using the pool for swimming, relaxation and even for their grandchildren. Despite encountering "too many Karens in the swimming pool," guests still found the hotel's grounds to be beautiful and appreciated the good facilities for swimming and relaxing.
