The hotel is located in a quaint location close to cafes, restaurants and Morecambe Bay- great for short walks. There is also a nice amount of walking to local pubs in this fabulous area. The hotel oozes old world charm and is situated in a lovely area to visit with picturesque views. It is exactly the location needed for an enjoyable stay at Grange.

Breakfast
Grange Hotel's guests were all praises about the breakfast served at the hotel. The breakfasts were described as nice, gorgeous, lovely, fantastic, excellent and exceptional. With a wide variety of choices available, guests enjoyed the plentiful and varied breakfast. The staff was friendly and helpful and the food was of good quality and tasted delicious. Even those with specific dietary requirements were catered to with gluten-free toast available. The setting was lovely with great rooms and surroundings and the carriages restaurant served a great menu for both dinner and breakfast. Overall, guests highly recommend the breakfast at Grange Hotel.

Dinner
The dinner experience at Grange Hotel has received mixed reviews from guests. Some have praised the fantastic service and excellent food, calling it amazing and fantastic. However, others were disappointed with the lack of updated menus and finesse, feeling that the hotel was attempting to offer fine dining but falling short. The tapas were also mentioned as not being offered every night. Some guests felt that more imagination and use of local products would be beneficial. In terms of cost, some found the food menu to be good but too expensive, paying £178 for a New Year's Eve dinner for two. The multi-course meal was also noted by guests. Unfortunately, the musical entertainment at dinner was of lousy quality and some guests experienced mediocre quality food. One guest noted that on the second night, they decided to eat in the bar and were disappointed with their undercooked and cold steak. Overall, while the food and waiting staff received positive feedback, there were some areas for improvement mentioned by guests in terms of menu selection, price, finesse and entertainment.

Rooms
The Grange Hotel is a welcoming and comfortable hotel with great rooms of varying sizes. Some of the larger rooms were sumptuous with gorgeous ensuites, rolltop baths and fantastic views of the sea. However, some rooms were exceptionally small, dull and outdated and some furniture was damaged. A few rooms did not have outside windows, which could present security issues. The quality of the rooms was below expectations for some guests with dirty bedding or plates under the bed. Nonetheless, the majority of guests found the rooms clean, bright, warm and comfortable. Bathrooms were generally clean and either had a shower, bath or both. Some guests noted that the bathrooms needed updating or were too small. The hotel decor was lovely and the staff were welcoming, always smiling and helpful. The dining room was elegant, but some felt it needed a coffee table. Despite some flaws, the Grange Hotel is a lovely gem with stunning, spacious rooms and a stunning grand size.

Beds
Guests have given mixed feedback regarding the beds at the Grange Hotel. Some guests have found the beds to be very comfortable with lovely big beds and luxury baths to add to the comfort. However, some guests have reported that the mattresses had springs that dug in and needed upgrading to at least Premier Inn standards. Some guests have also reported that the beds were squeaky and uncomfortable with springs sticking and black hairs found in the bed. Nonetheless, most guests have found the beds to be comfortable with a variety of fluffy white towels and toiletries provided for their stay.

Cleanliness
Grange Hotel, located in an idyllic area is a lovely place to stay with comfortable and spacious rooms. The hotel is known for its exceptional cleanliness which is evident in the spotless grounds, bright and warm rooms and clean bathrooms. The staff is welcoming, always smiling and the cleaners are second to none. However, some guests have complained about certain aspects of hygiene like dirty grout, stained carpet and a few cobwebs on the ceiling. The hotel facilities including the pool and spa are well maintained and the furnishings are beautifully decorated. Despite some wear and tear, the place is always clean and tidy. Guests have reported dirty plates under their beds, dirty towels and glasses with marks on them which could be improved. The customer service is adequate but room cleaning needs improvement, as some guests complained about the overall hygiene as well as a lack of robes and slippers.

Staff
The Grange Hotel is a great option for those seeking a friendly and accommodating staff. Reviews consistently mention the helpful, courteous and attentive nature of the staff, who were described as professional and efficient. Many guests enjoyed their interactions with the receptionists, waiters and breakfast room manager, who were all praised for their friendliness and service. Some guests did note that the hotel was understaffed at times, resulting in less than ideal experiences. However, most guests couldn't speak highly enough of the staff who went above and beyond to ensure their stay was enjoyable. There were mentions of staff members who particularly stood out, such as Karen on Housekeeping, the professional Chef and team and Omar on reception and Darius on the bar. Overall, the Grange Hotel is perfect for guests seeking a welcoming and relaxing environment with lovely people working there.

Spa
The Grange Hotel has a spa with facilities that received mixed reviews from guests. While some found the spa treatments and facilities lovely and excellent, others found them disappointing with the sauna and jacuzzi not working on occasions or being cold. The pool and spa facilities were also described as poor or exceptionally small and two people could fit in the sauna and steam room. However, the staff interaction was said to be excellent and the recent additions to the spa and pool were very welcome. Guests also enjoyed the food and found the spa added to their experience. Overall, while some guests were disappointed with the leisure facilities, others loved them and the couples spa treatment was described as fabulous.

Pool
The Grange Hotel offers a range of leisure facilities, including a swimming pool, hot tub, sauna and indoor pool. While some guests found the pool lovely, others felt it was too cold and could use more heat. The pool on the second day was freezing and the jacuzzi was also cold. Some guests noted that there was too much chlorine in the pool. Additionally, one had to book a slot for the steam room, but it did not heat up correctly within the given time. However, guests enjoyed using the pool and jacuzzi despite the temperature with one suggesting the pool and sauna were good once they warmed up. While the leisure suite was acceptable, some felt the facilities could be updated, as the indoor pool was pretty cold in the morning. Overall, the recent additions of the spa and pool were very welcome.

Parking
When it comes to parking at the Grange Hotel, there's a mix of positive and negative feedback from previous guests. On one hand, some found it easy to park, while others thought it was limited and difficult. The free parking is appreciated by many, but the spaces themselves are often chaotic and awkwardly arranged. Some guests have also noted that disabled access could be improved, as blocked driveways and lack of designated areas have made it challenging. While there are charging points available, the hotel could benefit from having more available car park spaces and better organisation overall.

4 Star
Grange Hotel is a stunning and grand property that offers stylish and comfortable atmosphere. The building itself is beautiful and the rooms are comfy with good value for money as it is comparatively cheaper than other 4-star hotels. However, there were some negative reviews regarding the hotel's dated facilities such as not having Sky TV in the rooms. Additionally, there were some issues with check-in times and spa treatments being delayed due to cleaning delays. Despite this, the hotel still received positive reviews from guests who described it as fabulous and stunning.

Romantic
When it comes to romantic getaways, the Grange Hotel is the perfect destination. Situated in a wonderful location, this hotel offers a stunning suite that comes highly recommended for a romantic getaway or celebration. The hotel's beautiful building and elegant décor create the perfect setting for a relaxing and luxurious break. For those looking to pamper themselves, the hotel also offers luxury baths and couples spa treatments that are absolutely fabulous. Although the hotel is really old-fashion looking, it adds to the exceptional and romantic charm of the Grange Hotel. A perfect place for a birthday weekend treat, as one guest noted that their stay for her husband's 50th birthday was wonderful. Despite some feedback noting that there was no fridge, no slippers and just an ugly shower instead of a bathtub, the Grange Hotel remains the perfect place for a romantic getaway.
