Location

Woodland Bay hotel is a stunning hotel located in an excellent spot. The views to the sea are lovely and it's just a two-minute walk to the beach. The location is perfect if you're traveling back to Northern Ireland via the Cairnryan ferry terminal, which is conveniently close by. The hotel is dog-friendly and there is easy access to the beach and lovely coastal walks. Although it was disappointing that the hotel doesn't have a bar or a restaurant, it's still an ideal spot if you're catching the ferry or wanting to explore the area. The surroundings are beautiful and there are outdoor seating areas to take in the stunning views. The staff are very friendly and accommodating, providing excellent service despite the difficult circumstances of COVID-19. The rooms are well-equipped and the hotel is easily accessible, close to the town and beach. Overall, it's an absolutely fabulous location and an excellent choice for a relaxing break.
