Summary of reviews related to the 'Pool' category
Summarized by AI
The pool at Holiday Inn Brooklyn Downtown by IHG, receives mixed reviews from guests. Many visitors appreciate the presence of an indoor pool, describing it as a nice escape after a day of sightseeing and praising its warmth and size. The facility also features a sauna, steam room and hot tub, which are popular among guests. Some even find the pool and jacuzzi amazing and fantastic for relaxation.
However, several challenges have been noted regarding the pool's cleanliness and accessibility. Guests frequently mention the pool being cloudy, dirty or murky with some observing scum around it. Others are disappointed by the limited and inconsistent pool hours, as well as closures due to various issues, such as swim lessons and absent staff. Complaints about a lack of towels and insufficient seating in the pool area are also common.
Despite the issues, families especially find the pool enjoyable for kids. Overall, while the pool is a highlight for many, improvements in maintenance and scheduling could significantly enhance the guest experience.
