Located in a quiet residential area overlooking a beautiful park, Hotel Regency - Small Luxury Hotels of the World boasts an excellent and convenient location for visitors to Florence. While some guests found it a little too far out from the main tourist area, it is still within walking distance (10-20 minutes) to the historical center and Piazza Doumo. The hotel is perfect for those who like to be walking distance from the center but tucked into a peaceful neighborhood. Guests appreciate the hotel's easy accessibility by car and its proximity to various attractions, while others described it as an idyllic oasis in summery Florence. The location is described as fantastic, excellent, perfect, ideal and optimal for exploring Florence on foot, yet located outside of the hubbub of central tourist areas. While some found it a little far, others described it as an easy stroll from the town center or a short 10-15 minute walk to the main tourist area. Overall, guests appreciated the hotel's prime location in one of the most beautiful cities in Italy.
