Location

If you're looking for a hotel in a beautiful location, Secrets Papagayo All Inclusive - Adults Only might be just what you're looking for! Located close to the sea, guests can enjoy stunning views from their rooms and the hotel's beach. Although the area isn't very walkable, there are plenty of trails for morning runs or hikes. The quiet area is full of greenery and wildlife with islands in front of the hotel home to monkeys and beautiful caves. Jet ski rental and tour packages are available on the beach for those feeling adventurous. While the resort is very hilly and some guests felt cut off, others thought the location was perfect and the premises are tucked away on a hill, providing a beautiful ocean view. Keep in mind that right outside the pool area, men may try to sell you tours and other items. Nevertheless, there are activities all day long to keep you entertained. Despite some comments about the beach not being very wide or beautiful, the location is described as great with many guests saying it's a fantastic place to stay.

Reception staff are inexperienced, but the front desk found a friend to take them on a tour for a reasonable price. The COVID protocols are strict and the staff is doing an excellent job of enforcing them. The staff at the activity pool section, led by Katherine, have high-strung energy, which gives guests an excellent vibe. Special shoutouts go to Danny, who welcomes guests with open arms, Karla, Alexandra and Fernando, who provide exceptional service and Doña Aida's ontzettend lieve bediening. Everyone at the hotel, from restaurant staff to receptionists, makes guests feel special and valued and the overall trato del personal es inmejorable. The excellent service provided by the staff, combined with the hotel's cleanliness, activities and food, make Secrets Papagayo the perfect vacation spot.
