Family Friendly Hotels in Cork

The Rochestown Park Hotel is a fantastic choice for families looking for a enjoyable stay with their children. The spacious family rooms exceeded our expectations and even included a mini fridge which was a huge plus for families with little ones. Although there were no tables available until 9pm, the lobby area provided a great space for babies to crawl about. Kids would love to spend time in a movie or games room, but they were kept entertained nonetheless with the warm and family-friendly leisure pool. We did experience a slight hiccup with the staff not getting our baby's bowl right, but it was quickly remedied. The breakfast menu was limited, but we realized too late that pancakes were available for the children. Overall, it was a great value and highly recommended for families- we even brought along 13 family members with us on this great family night away!

The Castlemartyr Resort Hotel offers a beautiful location and spacious rooms with plenty of activities for kids. However, some guests found the pool changing rooms to be tight and uncomfortable for young kids and the elderly. The spa is not child-friendly and there are restrictions on swimming with children in the pool. The leisure centre is more suitable for children but others found it disappointing. Unfortunately, cycling around the grounds is not recommended. Despite these shortcomings, guests raved about the fabulous wedding reception and the beautiful gardens and grounds. The only downside was the long wait to be seated for pre-booked breakfasts each morning.
