Although a car is needed to get around, the location is still convenient, just a short drive to pubs, shops and restaurants. For those attending weddings, the B&B is also located close to venues in the area. Additionally, it is within easy reach to the Peak District and the Lake District, making it a great position to explore the surrounding areas by car, bike, or foot. Overall, the great location and lovely setting make Whitethorn Bed and Breakfast a wonderful choice for a countryside getaway.

However, it's important to note that some guests mentioned finding unpicked up dog poo on the lawn, so be sure to clean up after your pet. While the hotel is very dog friendly, some guests noted that their requests for pet-free rooms were ignored. But overall, it's a great bonus that Whitethorn Bed and Breakfast welcomes pets and we love that we could take our little dog, Midge with us on our travels.
