Although slightly outside the city center, it is still well-located and offers easy access to downtown either by walking approximately 30 minutes each way, taking a taxi, or taking public transportation. A new LIDL just around the corner offers convenient shopping. The helpful staff, including Lena who ordered many taxis for guests, create a warm and inviting atmosphere. The rooms are spacious and clean, some offering breathtaking views of sunsets over Chania and the sea. Breakfast served on the terrace adds to the charm and appeal of this hotel. However, some guests noted that the hotel is situated on a busy street and that the sandy beach is far away. Overall, the location of Akrotiri Hotel is great and offers a beautiful view of Chania town.
