The Crown Hotel Wetheral provides a fantastic location for both outdoor adventurers and city explorers. Guests can enjoy lovely walks around the charming village and along the beautiful riverside right from the hotel. The convenience of the train station being only a 2-minute walk away allows for easy access to explore Carlisle and other nearby areas. The hotel is located close to the M6 and with a car park, making it an ideal place to stay for those travelling by car. The village has limited dining options, however, the hotel's restaurant and bar are well-sited and offer trendy and smart dining areas. The location is perfect for quiet getaways and special occasions such as birthdays. Though a bit difficult to find in the dark, the hotel is a wonderful gem outside the city with easy access to the countryside and only 30 minutes from the Lake District. Overall, guests love the location and recommend the Crown Hotel Wetheral for its excellent location in a beautiful village setting.
