Our premises date to 1542, as documented in the book Rua das Flores no século XVI, being Rua das Flores, Flowers Street, the first street built in Porto by the king D. Manoel to connect the Douro river to the Cathedral and Bishop's residence and still considered today as the best architectural example of this period of time.
All the monuments and places of interest are at 5/10 minutes walking distance.
Public car parking equally and a valet parking available on previous request and booking.
During the 5 large years of reconstruction we focus in preserving the maximum of the original and historical structure, namely the XVIth. century granite walls, tiles from the XVII and XVIII, stuccoes from the XIX, parts of the original floor and staircase and in adding the best materials and techniques to achieve the maximum level of comfort, both on thermic and acoustic.
Each of the 10 suites is differently decorated, all with the same attention to detail, quality, comfort and intimacy.
