Although it's too far from the airport for some, being so close to the beach makes up for it. The location of the resort makes it a bit difficult to find excursions and other activities, though the beach on the doorstep is enough for most guests.

The Italian restaurant's breakfast is also a crowd-pleaser. The food is delicious and flavorful and the presentation is impeccable. The rooms are generally clean and modern with fridges stocked with cold drinks, beer, tequila and rum. Some guests were upgraded to better accommodations, including a 1 bedroom suite on the family side. The property is well maintained with great service with everything you need in one place, from restaurants to shops, to the theater. However, some guests had issues with their rooms, such as ants, slippery floors and poor equipment. Nonetheless, most guests would highly recommend staying here.

The drinks were sometimes watered down and guests were advised to bring insect repellent since the gift store was overpriced. With upgraded 1 bedroom suites and a family-friendly pool, the hotel is a great size for large groups and families. The layout is very considerate of the different needs of families or adults only with a clear separation between the family and club sides. The activities throughout the resort are catered to families, so kids can enjoy themselves in the kids room or at the sports bar after a certain hour. Though there isn't much available for kids, we had an incredible experience traveling with a 7-month old. Our large group of 27 had a great time on the family and friends side of the resort.
