Former Castle HotelSherbrooke Castle was built in 1896 by a well-known contractor of the time, John Morrison, who wanted to create a baronial mansion for himself. Built in impressive red sandstone just outside Glasgow, Sherbrooke Castle boasts many of the architectural and stylistic characteristics of the late Victorian period. It became a hotel just before WWII broke out, during which it was used by the Royal Navy as a training ground for its officers. In 1945, it became a hotel again, offering lavish accommodation and excellent services to all its guests.
