The Clayton Hotel Cambridge boasts a fantastic location just a stone's throw from the train station, making it extremely convenient for guests travelling by train. The hotel is also ideally situated for exploring the beautiful city of Cambridge with many attractions within easy walking distance, including the Botanic Gardens and the town centre. Guests can enjoy a variety of excellent restaurants and coffee shops on their doorstep and there are plenty of great places to eat nearby. While some guests noted that noise could be an issue if overlooking the back of the hotel, others preferred the location next to the train station. Overall, the location of the Clayton Hotel Cambridge received high praise from guests with many describing it as excellent or perfect.

Overall, the Clayton Hotel Cambridge is a clean, comfortable and very welcoming place to stay.

If you want to experience the warmth of English hospitality, you need to visit the Clayton Hotel in Cambridge. Every person we deal with from reception to the restaurant breakfast team, was amazing - friendly, accommodating and kind to ensure that our stay was memorable. The staff were the highlight of our stay with their genuine care and attention to detail. The management of the hotel obviously puts guests first, which was reflected in how all the staff interacts. The reception staff was particularly helpful and welcoming, especially the young lady at check-in who was there for just three days but made a great impression on us. The housekeeping staff was also brilliant, making sure that the rooms were always clean and comfortable.

However, there were a few hiccups with some staff members not being as efficient as others but overall, the staff at the Clayton Hotel Cambridge were attentive, accommodating and very friendly. We were impressed that the hotel acknowledged our 14th wedding anniversary with a handwritten card, chocolates and red petals on the bed. It was clear that the staff went the extra mile to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. If you get a chance, don't miss out on the great breakfast served daily with many healthy options available. The lift in the hotel was prompt and we never had to wait.

Overall, the Clayton Hotel Cambridge with its incredible staff, great atmosphere and comfortable rooms, should be at the top of your list if you're planning a trip to Cambridge.

Guests have described it as a lovely luxury break, exceptional and of high quality. Although some guests found the menu a bit limited for a 4 star hotel, others complimented the hotel's beautiful aesthetics. The beds are very comfortable and the overall experience is very pleasant. However, the price for parking in the station car park was deemed expensive. Despite a fire alarm going off at 2:30am which marred one guest's experience, the hotel has provided a great value for money and worked for many guests. In conclusion, the Clayton Hotel Cambridge is a lovely hotel that offers excellent facilities and services that allows guests to have a memorable experience.
