Summary of reviews
Summarized by AI
Yashail Hotel Haridwar is strategically located, providing convenience and value for many guests. The location is praised for its accessibility, albeit some guests mention its distance from central Haridwar, which can make travel to key attractions more time-consuming.
The breakfast experience receives commendation for its variety and quality with many guests describing it as very good or even amazing. Both breakfast and dinner at the hotel are well-regarded, though there are occasional suggestions for a broader selection, particularly in terms of fruits and continental options. Despite minor criticisms, the overall feedback on the dining experience is positive.
Guests appreciate the spaciousness of the rooms, yet there are significant concerns regarding cleanliness and upkeep. Multiple reviews highlight issues with dirt, unpleasant odors, mold and outdated furnishings. The condition of linens, towels and overall maintenance is frequently noted as subpar with descriptions of worn-out sanitary fittings and broken amenities. These issues detract significantly from the otherwise generous room sizes.
Cleanliness extends as a major concern beyond the rooms. Guests report issues with the overall hygiene and maintenance of the property, citing dirty carpets, faulty electricals and unclean common areas. The hotel appears outdated and in need of renovations. Staff shortages also impact service quality, although some guests do appreciate the hospitality and friendliness of the existing staff members.
Staff performance garners mixed reviews. Many guests find the staff to be polite, helpful and courteous, especially noting their efforts at the reception and gym areas. However, there are also consistent complaints about unresponsiveness, lack of professional training and inadequate customer service during busy periods. Issues like poor guidance and insufficient support for drivers are mentioned as areas needing improvement.
In summary, Yashail Hotel Haridwar offers a convenient location and a good breakfast experience, but struggles with maintaining cleanliness and proper upkeep of rooms and facilities. The staff's cordiality is appreciated, though there are notable areas for improvement in service quality and training.
