Guests were enamored with the beach, loving the warm water and the easy walk from their rooms. Dining outdoors on the ocean terrace and at the terrace restaurant provided breathtaking garden views. The extensive grounds feature tennis courts and offer plenty of space to relax and play. Overall, guests loved the beautiful location and property with many noting they enjoyed their favorite activities with ease due to the convenient location. It's clear that the Mansion at Ocean Edge Resort & Golf Club is the ultimate location for beachgoers and nature lovers alike.

Additionally, while the majority found the staff to be gracious, accommodating and professional, there were a few exceptions, such as a woman named Mary at The Frost Bar who seemed entirely annoyed and unhelpful. Overall, despite COVID restrictions, guests appreciate the staff's positive attitude and effort to create a positive experience.

While the outdoor pool is small and in need of maintenance, some still enjoyed taking a dip in it, especially in the morning before families arrived. The beach bar is also within reach for those thirst-quenching drinks. Visitors can expect a crowd, as the pool can accommodate a lot of guests. However, some found the pool a little too small and the water was not very clean. The outdoor pool behind Chatham had some drainage issues, which led to discoloration, but the pool attendant was quick to explain that it was due to recent storms. Guests appreciated the extra service from the wait staff walking around to serve drinks. On the whole, while some found the pool area tiny and wished for it to be more extensive and possibly with a view, others loved the ambiance and the overall experience. A final note, some missed the instruction to rinse off before getting in but that could be easily fixed with more signs or outdoor showers provided by the hotel.

The beach access is a major plus and we highly recommend staying for the comfortable rooms. Parking is hassle-free and the staff is incredibly helpful - we witnessed one example of them assisting an elderly couple with carrying their luggage up the stairs. As for the kids, there are plenty of activities and lawn games to keep them entertained. The pizza night was especially fun for both kids and adults. While seating can be hard to come by on a first come first serve basis, the large size of the hotel means it can accommodate a lot of people. Overall, we had a fun time and would definitely recommend and stay again. Despite one reviewer mentioning it wasn't what they expected, we found it to be great for families - especially for those who are huge Bruins fans!
