Land- und Golfhotel Alte Fliegerschule, while comfortable for many guests, seems to miss the mark for those expecting a true 4-star experience. Reviews often highlight discrepancies between the hotel’s advertised rating and the actual service and facilities provided. Guests frequently mention that the hotel feels outdated, with old-fashioned rooms and minor maintenance issues like door handles, reflecting a need for attention in comparison to typical 4-star accommodations. Despite this, some visitors did feel comfortable during their stay. However, for travelers anticipating the amenities and service levels associated with a 4-star golf hotel, adjusting expectations may be necessary to avoid disappointment. The sentiment that the hotel does not fully justify its 4-star classification is a recurring theme in the feedback.

Vienna House by Wyndham Thüringer Hof Eisenach presents a mix of positive and critical feedback from its guests regarding its four-star rating, facilities and services. The hotel is often described as classy with a distinguished atmosphere, especially evident in the entrance area. The staff are frequently noted for their competence, contributing positively to guests' experiences.
However, there are recurring concerns about the hotel not fully meeting the expectations associated with a four-star establishment. Guests have noted that the overall cleanliness, particularly in the bathrooms, falls short of what they would expect. Additionally, the policy of room cleaning and bed making only upon request has been criticized as being inadequate for a hotel of this rating.
The breakfast offerings, while good, have also been mentioned as not being as extensive or varied as those in other similarly rated hotels. There are also small details such as the quality of the towels and the breakfast products that some guests feel do not align with four-star standards.
Despite these critiques, the hotel maintains essential services expected from a four-star property. Nevertheless, there is a noted disparity between the pricing and the perceived value of the four-star standard, suggesting room for improvement to better meet guest expectations.
